Conners Praire

Today Jesse and I went to Conners Praire in Fishers, Indiana. The whole place is set up as a pioneer and Native American reinactment museum. There are several little villages set up for various time periods with character actors and interactive centers. We went with our friend Kevin and his two daughters. We spent around 4 hours in the entire place and didn't get to see/do everything.
Jesse and Sophie working on a foam cabin.
Jesse riding a fake horse in the petting zoo.
These stilts are what the pioneers would use for entertainment... I'm pretty sure not too many pregnant pioneers attempted to walk on stilts!
There was an area to try on some pioneer clothes so we thought it would be fun to dress up and take some photos. Jesse said we couldn't smile in our picture because people in that time never smiled in their photos.
On the drive home the girls decided to put Jesse's hair into tiny pigtails. He was sweet enough to sit there and let them give him a new hair style. We stopped at Dairy Queen for some blizzards and Jesse got some pretty interesting looks...
