Happy day!!!

Yesterday was our 4th anniversary!!! We didn't do anything that exciting but we still had a great day. We went to the park for lunch, but ended up coming home to eat due to little black bugs and insane humidity. (Trust me, nobody enjoys 90 degrees because of 80% humidity!) We spent the rest of the day just hanging out together, finishing unpacking, and playing with Rosalee. I made chicken curry for dinner which is one of Jesse's FAVORITE meals and surprised him with some new clothes for school.

The 2nd picture was taken in response to the question, "but how will we know which pictures are from our anniversary?"

Jesse said I could do his hair so as a joke I made it into a mohawk. I did this to prove a point- his hair is LONG and needs to be cut!!! :)
Yesterday was the 6th which means Rosalee is now 9 months old. As posted before she now pulls herself up to a squat, can pull herself to a stand with help, army crawls and rolls for self transportation, gets excited when she sees animals and wants to touch them, signs "want", "more", and is learning "milk", falls asleep at night with only us rubbing her back, sleeps a solid 9-10 hours without waking up (Woo hoo for us!!!), makes b, p, d, t, k, g sounds A LOT, copies (or makes her own) facial expressions, and hugs everything she can get her arms around.

She kept getting excited about standing and would let go of the chain so it was rather difficult to take the first picture. Rosalee wasn't too sure what to think about slides as you can tell by the look on her face!

Not a big fan of swings either!!

Fascinated with Daddy's fingers

Still not liking the swing! She kept squeezing me with her legs and trying to fling herself out of my arms to get to Jesse.

We spent a few minutes at the elephant fountain because Rosalee had so much fun running her fingers in the cold water.

She tried a few times to jump out of Jesse's arms to get the goats. Other kids would get upset at the goats making noises but it only excited her more. It looks like Jesse is helping her pet the animals but in reality he was making sure she didn't pull their hair.

Mom and Rosalee at the park

This was taken with my phone so the quality isn't the best... but I LOVE how much she adores her Spuddy Buddy. That's right folks, my daughter hugs and loves a stuffed toy potato in a sweater!

This is the face she makes when she's frustrated or just being silly. Thankfully these were taken during a silly moment.

I love the silly face! Makes me laugh!
The mohawk suits Jesse well. He looks like he's from the little rascals.
